Town Hall Youth Baseball
Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden
reported on Town Hall Youth baseball for the week of
May 28.
T-Ball League
On Tuesday, May 29, the Rotary Padres played the
Idyllwild Professional
Cleaning Service White
Sox. The Padres Easton
Pramuka had a couple
nice hits for her
team. Logan Wilkerson
played great for the
White Sox going after
the ball in the field and
getting a couple nice
hits.
On Friday the Rotar
y Padres played
again, this time taking
on the American
Legion Dodgers. The
Dodgers played great.
Rylan Righetti played
awesome hitting and
f i e l d i n g t h e b a l l .
Jayden Fogle played
great at first base and
got a couple nice hits
for the Dodgers.
The game Saturday was between the American Legion
Dodgers and the Idyllwild Professional Cleaning Service
White Sox. The White Sox Teagan Baraty had a super
game getting a couple nice hits. Revin Muir played great
for the Dodgers going after
the ball in the field and making
a couple nice plays.
Minor League
In Tuesday’s second
game, the Shell Astros took
on the Suburban Propane
Rangers, who got off to
a hot start. The Rangers
scored three runs in the
first inning. Brody Posey
and Reese Whitney hits
led to Rangers’ runs. For
the Astros, Manuel Guzman
and Lilliana Sorenson
contributed key hits as
they came back and scored
enough runs late in the
game to win 12-5.
On Saturday the Shell
Astros met the Idyllwild
Inn Diamondbacks. The
D-Backs immediately got
their bats swinging. In the
first inning, they scored
five runs. Fiona McMullen
scored one her two runs
in the inning. Seth White
played great defense in the
outfield stopping a couple
big hits in the game. The
Astros trailed late in the
game, but didn’t give up. In
the final inning, the Astros
scored six runs to tighten
the game. Henry Mendoza
got a big hit to keep the inning
alive; but the D-Backs
finally got the last out and
won the game 13-10.

Major League
The first Majors’ game
of the week was Friday,
June 1, when the Whoolie’s
Orioles played the Higher
Grounds Rays. The Orioles
got off to a great start in
the first inning as Bryan
Mabery scored the first of
three runs in the inning. Joey
Neu played great getting on
base a couple times. Jake
Mabery started the game
pitching great and finished
the game strong as the Orioles
won 8-4.
On Saturday, the
Whoolie’s Orioles played
again, this time against the
Green Cafe Cubs. In the
best game of the year in the
majors, both teams pitched,
hit and fielded the ball great
all game long.
The Cubs’ Jake Gurling
pitched awesome all game long and Jadon Meskimen played
great in the field as he snaged a short fly ball at first base.
Lainie Wilke, of the Orioles, got her first hit of the year
and teammate Nicola Sabin

made a nice fielding play at second base tagging a runner
out early in the game. As the teams entered the last inning,
the game was tied 1-1. The Cubs scored to take a one run
lead. Then the Orioles fought back. Seth Clowers got his
third hit of the game and came around to score the winning
run on Tobin Ale’s hit. The Orioles came back and won an
exciting 3-2 game in the last inning.
