“What is the difference between school governance and school<br />

management”<br />

“Who determines the school’s employment policy”<br />

“Who sets the fees”<br />

If you’ve asked these questions, or questions like them, come to<br />

the Board Information Evening and get answers.<br />

Who can come<br />

Parents, friends, anyone interested in the way the school is<br />

governed.<br />

Board members and the Principal<br />

Will there be a chance to ask questions<br />

We welcome questions about the governance of the school, as<br />

this evening aims to inform you about the Board and its operations.<br />

Can I get a cup of coffee<br />

Maybe you won’t want coffee. Maybe you’d prefer tea – or just water Don’t worry, supper will be provided<br />

at no cost. (Please RSVP by 24/8/12 to 9547 2311 so that we can cater properly.)<br />

What will it cost me<br />

Nothing, there is no charge for this evening. It is being presented by the Board as part of its commitment to<br />

transparency and good government.<br />

Reading at home with your child<br />

Reading at home is important to help children develop their skills and<br />

confidence. Sometimes parents lack the confidence to help their child read<br />

at home. This workshop is for parents of children in lower primary school who<br />

would like strategies in how to approach reading with their child at home.<br />

Date: Monday 30th July 2012<br />

Time: 6.00pm to 8.30pm<br />

Venue: Learning Links, 10 Railway Parade, Penshurst NSW 2222<br />

Cost: FREE*<br />
