The 1993 record was already published for 14-2 6
lune . The Gulpen birds concerned the second breeding
record for the Netherlands ; the first was m 1990 in
Flevoland .

Four out of a totaJ of eight records refer to hirds trapped
alony, the tlsselmeer coast of Friesland . The only
field record, an Vlieland, Friesland, in September 1994

A record year. The tiny islet ot Rottumeroow and its
warden Koen van Dijken have now been involved in

This is onfy the Íirst lield record . It appeared to have
just arrived, since it was seen coming in trom the North
Sea during a seabird watch . Except for the tirst, which
was found clead on 2 November 1935, all previous
records were of bircls trapped between 9 September
and 11 October .
