Restaurant cars are available on some City Night Line routes, including: Amsterdam-<br />
Copenhagen, Amsterdam-Zurich/Brig, Berlin-Zurich, Hamburg-Zurich/Brig, Copenhagen-Basel,<br />
Copenhagen-Prague and Prague-Zurich, serving hot meals in the evening and breakfast in the<br />
morning. Breakfast is included in the price of the ticket for passengers travelling in a sleeper.<br />
Drinks and snacks can be purchased directly from the train staff in trains that do not have a<br />
restaurant carriage. There is no restaurant car on the following routes: Amsterdam-<br />
Munich/Innsbruck, Amsterdam-Prague, Berlin-Paris, Munich-Berlin, Hamburg-Paris, Munich-<br />
Hamburg, Munich-Paris, Munich-Rome and Munich-Venice. On these routes, passengers can<br />
purchase drinks and snacks directly from the train crew.<br />
All City Night Line routes (except Prague-Copenhagen) have a couchette compartment with<br />
wheelchair access and fully equipped bathroom facilities. Wheelchairs cannot be used<br />
elsewhere in the train due to space restrictions.<br />
Bicycles can be taken on all routes, except Paris-Hamburg and Copenhagen-Prague, for £10, or<br />
£6 for BahnCard holders.<br />
Dogs and small pets are allowed onboard City Night Line trains provided the whole compartment<br />
has been booked for single use. Pets are not permitted in the dining car and must be kept on a<br />
lead at all times when outside the compartment. Passengers travelling in seated accommodation<br />
cannot transport animals. Max. 3 pets per passenger, approx. £30 per pet. Guide dogs and<br />
Assistance dogs travel for free in all types of accommodation.<br />
1 piece of luggage and 1 piece of hand luggage are accepted per passenger. Baggage, skis,<br />
snowboards and golf clubs can be transported free of charge on all routes, except Zurich-<br />
Prague. Luggage must be clearly labelled.<br />
Large pieces of luggage, such as winter sports equipment, is stowed in the luggage compartment<br />
and can be transported at a fee of approximately £15 per item.<br />
Power sockets are available in sleeping car compartments. Power sockets in standard sleepers are<br />
intended for devices with low energy consumption (e.g. shavers, mobile phones). Deluxe sleepers<br />
have devices that are equipped for larger electrical devices such as laptops. There are no electrical<br />
sockets in couchette or seated accommodation. City Night Line advise against passengers using<br />
medical apparatus and assumes no responsibility.<br />
Tickets and passports will be checked by train crew once on board the train. On international<br />
routes where passports/ID's may get checked at the border, train crew may take passports/IDs and<br />
return them in the morning to save waking passengers at night.<br />
