Top chips for resealable chip interface<br />
The Top Chips are designed for use with the Resealable Chip Interface (Part No.<br />
3000305) and a Base Chip. The Top Chips have an integrated elastomer gasket which<br />
seals with the base chip.<br />

Manual Injection Top Chip (Part No. 3200069)<br />
This PMMA chip can be used in combination with a base chip in the resealable chip<br />
interface. Liquids can be dispensed into the 10mm x10mm x 3mm reservoir using a<br />
pipette. The liquid will only come into contact with a 10mm x 10mm area on a base chip.<br />
Applications include surface modification of the base chip and deposition of cells onto the<br />
surface of the base chip. The two channels that are shown can be used for purging the<br />
area with gasses.<br />

Manual Multi-Injection Top Chip (Part No. 3200070)<br />
This PMMA chip can be used in combination with a base chip in the resealable chip<br />
interface. Liquids can be dispensed into the 25 reservoirs which are 1.5mm diameter x<br />
3mm high using a pipette. The liquids will only come into contact with an array of 1.5mm<br />
diameter circles on the base chip.<br />
Applications include surface modification of the base chip and deposition of cells onto the<br />
surface of the base chip. The two channels that are shown can be used for purging the<br />
area with gasses.<br />
Top Chip, 1-in, 1-out (Part No. 3200071)<br />
This PMMA chip can be used in combination with a base chip in the resealable chip<br />
interface. Liquid can be pumped via the linear connector into the chip and across the<br />
surface of the base chip. The channel depth is 100µm and the channel width is 11mm in<br />
the central region.<br />

Top Chip, 4-in, 1-out (Part No. 3200072)<br />
This PMMA chip can be used in combination with a base chip in the resealable chip<br />
interface. Liquid can be pumped via the linear connector into the chip and across the<br />
surface of the base chip. The channel depth is 100µm and the channel width is 11mm in<br />
the central region.<br />
Four input streams can be connected with one output stream. This allows the positions of<br />
the streams to be controlled and the potential generation of a concentration gradient. The<br />
channel width of the input streams is 0.5mm.<br />

This set contains one of each of the following parts: 3200069, 3200070, 3200071 and<br />

Top Chip, 3-in, 1-out (Part No. 3200120)<br />
This PMMA chip can be used in combination with a base chip in the resealable chip<br />
interface. Liquid can be pumped via the linear connector into the chip and across the<br />
surface of the base chip. The channel depth is 100µm and the channel width is 3mm in<br />
the central region.<br />
Three input streams can be connected with one output stream. This allows the positions<br />
of the streams to be controlled and the potential generation of a concentration gradient.<br />
There is also a straight 1-in, 1-out channel.<br />
Base Chips for Resealable Chip Interface<br />
The base Chips are designed for use with the resealable chip interface (Part No.<br />
3000305) and a top chip. The base chips are made from glass and require a top chip to<br />
make a fluidic seal.<br />

Large Well Base Chip (Part No. 3000478)<br />
This glass chip can be used in combination with a top chip in the resealable chip interface.<br />
A central square 9mm x 9mm area is etched to a depth of 100µm. This provides a<br />
recessed area in the fluid flow path. Materials or samples can be deposited in the recess<br />
prior to assembly in the interface.<br />
Blank Base Chip (Part No. 3000343)<br />
This glass chip can be used in combination with a top chip in the resealable chip interface.<br />
There are no etched features on this chip. Examples of use include the deposition of thin<br />
layers onto the surface of the chip prior to assembly in the interface for fluidic<br />
experiments.<br />

Wellplate Chip (Part No. 3000218)<br />
This glass chip can be used in combination with a top chip in the resealable chip interface.<br />
The wellplate chip has a 40 x 40 array of nano-litre wells each with a volume of 0.26nl.<br />
The 40 x 40 array covers an area of 10 x 10mm.<br />
The wells allow immobilisation of particles or cells during experiments with the resealable<br />
