<strong>AXSalert</strong> <strong>Upgrade</strong><br />
How to <strong>Upgrade</strong> the Doors or Sites Number<br />
Application Note<br />
1. General Information<br />
The <strong>AXSalert</strong>-100 software is licensed for specific number of doors or sites. It is possible to add more doors or sites<br />
to the software license by using the one of the following <strong>Upgrade</strong> kits.<br />
1 <strong>AXSalert</strong> UPD32 3-6323-5 Add 32 doors<br />
2 <strong>AXSalert</strong> UPD64 3-6323-6 Add 64 doors<br />
3 <strong>AXSalert</strong> UPS5 3-6323-7 Add 5 sites<br />
4 <strong>AXSalert</strong> UPS10 3-6323-8 Add 10 sites<br />
Increase number of doors for <strong>AXSalert</strong>-100/1/2/3<br />
Increase number of sites for <strong>AXSalert</strong>-100M<br />
The <strong>Upgrade</strong> package contains the following:<br />
1. This application Note<br />
2. CD with the upgrade application software<br />
3. An upgrade plug<br />
2. <strong>Upgrade</strong> with Parallel Plug<br />
1. Exit from the <strong>AXSalert</strong> software.<br />
2. Connect the upgrade plug in the back of the plug that already installed. Do not remove the existing plug (see<br />
figure 1).<br />
3. Insert the <strong>AXSalert</strong> upgrade CD to the CD drive and follow the instructions that will appear on the PC<br />
screen.<br />
4. After the <strong>AXSalert</strong> upgrade software is finished, remove the upgrade plug and run the <strong>AXSalert</strong>.<br />

3. <strong>Upgrade</strong> with USB Plug<br />
1. Exit from the <strong>AXSalert</strong> software.<br />
2. Connect the upgrade USB plug in a different USB port without removing the installed one (see figure 2).<br />
3. Insert the <strong>AXSalert</strong> upgrade CD to the CD drive and follow the instructions that will appear on the PC<br />
screen.<br />
4. After the <strong>AXSalert</strong> upgrade software is finished, remove the upgrade USB plug and run the <strong>AXSalert</strong>.<br />
