“My Three Elves” – Erika Marshall Tipper’s ’90
triplets, Kyle, Ryan, and Emma.
have just moved out of the city and into
Mamaroneck, a suburb about 25 miles from
NYC. Also, we are expecting another boy in
May, so we are very excited. If you are in the
area, feel free to call or stop by. I am still
working at Avon in the Global Market
Research department and Reed is still at
Morgan Stanley. Hope that you are all well.”
Brian Wise writes, “I have recently been
promoted to Recovery Specialist Supervisor
at my current job. I still see Keith Andelman
almost every weekend to watch the Patriots.
Hope all of my former classmates are doing
well. It’s hard to believe that our 20th is
coming up soon.”
John Discepolo writes, “I’m at CBS 2 now
here in New York. Came over here from Fox
back in April, and believe it or not, I just got
married back in September. My wife, Shay,
was born in Kansas but grew up in Phoenix.
She works for Owens Corning. I try to get
back to Tilton as often as I can. The last time
was in the summer of 2004 when I took Shay
to see the campus.” Melissa Thompson
Currier writes, “CB and I just celebrated the
first birthday of our twins, Charles and
Eleanor. They are growing and learning
quickly – it’s a little scary actually. CB is in
Texas running a congressional race in Tom
DeLay’s old district. I am currently working
from home in Annapolis on a number of
consulting projects and spending lots of time
with the kids, which is great. We have a parttime
nanny from South Africa who is teaching
us ALL a lot about the world. In the spring, I
will be working on a five-day U.S. visit for the
first lady of Qatar. She has been a force for
educational reform and cultural diversity in a
country with a major Wahhabi influence. I
am really looking forward to meeting her and
working with her to educate the American
public about the positive, non-isolationist,
secular programs that are working in Qatar.
I’d love to hear more about what you all are
doing these days. Keep in touch! I’d like to
encourage fellow alums to join LinkedIn.
This has been a great resource for me
professionally, and it’s a great way to build
Melissa Thompson Currier ’90 with twins
Charles and Eleanor, who turned one in
November 2007.
the Tilton School community off-campus. I
recently reconnected with Louis LoPresti
’89, who is now a Digital Media Strategist
and Consultant in LA, and with Lauren
(Sacco) Plausky ’92, who is now Director of
Constituent Affairs for the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts. Check it out at
www.linkedin.com. Cheers!”
Edna Balzer Wollenweber and husband
Joachim are pleased to announce the birth of
their firstborn son, Simon Alexander, born on
November 8, 2007.
Joy Santolucito Sachs writes, “After graduating
from Wheelock College, I worked
teaching in Wellesley, MA, where I met my
husband. He worked in the office park next to
the school where I taught. I am happily
married to my husband, Adam, and have two
children, Ashley Julia, who is three years old,
and Andrew James, who is nine months old.
