Radhashtami
The Shrungaar
and Saaj offered
to Thakurji on
Radhashtami is
the same as
which is offered
to Thakurji of
Janmashtami. The
reason for this is
that there is no
difference
between Shri
Thakurji and Shri
Swaminiji, which
is why the
Shrungar of
Radhashtami and
Janmashtami are
the same.

Daan Ekadashi
On Daan
Ekadashi, Thakurji
is adorned with
Mukut and
Kaachni. Thakurji

the Daan Leela.

Vaman Jayanti
Vaman Jayanti
marks the birth
of Lord Vaman,
which is fifth
incarnation of
Lord Vishnu and
Shri Thakurji
himself.
Lord Vaman took
birth as the son
of Rishi Kashyap
and Aditi. As Lord
Vaman is a ‘Batuk
Bhramin,’
Thakurji is
adorned with
Dhoti and
Uparna. Thakurji
is also offered
two Janoi’s
today.

Dashera
Dashera
celebrates the
victory of Lord
Ram over Ravan.
On this day, Shriji
starts wearing
Jari Vastra. On
this day, the
‘Jawera’ which
are sown on the
first day of Nav
Vilas, are offered
to Shriji and
adorned on the
Paagh. Thakurji is
also offered
weapons today,
which could be
seen of Shriji’s
right hand.

Sharad Poornima
On Sharad
Poornima,
Thakurji is
adorned with a
diamond Mukut,
heavy Shrungar

White.
This festival
celebrates the
Maharaas
between Shriji
and the Gopi’s.

Govardhan Pooja
This festival
marks the
Gujarati New
Year. In Haveli’s
Govardhan Pooja
is done, after
which Annakut is
offered.
The only
difference
between the
Shrungar of
Diwali and today
is that on the
Kulhe, a red
Gokarn is offered
which represents
cows ears.

Today is the day
when the lord
first went to
graze the cows.
A green and red
Jari Kaachni is
offered along
with a Jadav
Mukut. Shrungar
is bhaari with

Gopashtami.

Ekadashi
This is the day
when Lord Vishnu
wakes up after
four months.
A mandap of

the wedding of

Vaagha. On Shri
Mastak is Jadav
Kulhe. Thakurji
wears Mojha.

Utsav
On Shri Gusaiji’s

Mojha and Satin
Vastra.

commences. Khel

Girdharji’s house
in Satghara
(Mathura.) This is
where Shriji
played Holi with

the houses of
Pushtimarga
commemorating
the visit of
Shreenathji to
their house.
