Age verification is required by the Ju- gendschutzrecht (German Juvenile Protection Act). The T-Online age verification system was reviewed and approved by the Commission for Protection of Minors from Unsuitable Media Content (KJM). Individuals of legal age are allowed to register. Regis- tration uses the Deutsche Post “PostIdent” procedure. T-Com sends a special “PostIdent” coupon for age verification purposes. Required data can be captured and sent to the Customer Service Department by producing this coupon and a valid identity card or passport at any branch of Deutsche Post AG. Authorization by the age verification system is checked by the Customer Service Department. Prerequisites: Video on Demand service can only be used by customers who are connected to the Internet via T-Online.
