Online Games In the Online Games shop area, the sorts of games offered in the Easy Games area are available for online play. Games are played in pop-up windows, and no registration is required. A number of well-known games can be played at no extra charge. To use this area, a user creates a Gamesload account and gives himself a nickname. Users pay for virtual clothes and accessories with coins that they "earn" by playing and winning tournaments. In a VIP area, which is subject to special charges, registered users play special VIP games, before an audience of other users, and can take part in exclusive tournaments. Users obtain access to the VIP area by purchasing time allotments from Gamesload. Gamesload Flatrate (on-demand service) Offers subscribers full versions of German-language PC games for online play, on a fee basis. With Gamesload, which follows Musicload and Video on Demand, T-Online is now launching a third sales platform for broadband entertainment products. • Users enjoy the special advantage – one not offered in regular stores – that some of the games in the download area are available for a limited trial phase before purchase. What is more, users who opt for Gamesload Flatrate can try out all of the PC games available in the package (currently, more than 100) for a ten-day period, at no additional cost.* • The Download area also includes a "Gift" function with which users can purchase games licenses for other users. Gift recipients are informed about their gifts by email. To play their gift games, gift recipients simply download them and activate them by key.
