In compliance with the EEO record keeping requirements, the Station creates a file for<br />

each position to be filled. The file generally includes, but is not limited to, the following items:<br />

copies <strong>of</strong> advertisements, emails, and the distributions to mailing list(s) used to notify sources <strong>of</strong><br />

the opening and a summary <strong>of</strong> filled vacancies showing, interviewees and referral sources.<br />

Positions filled in this reporting period include two (2) Account Executive positions and all have<br />

a file including the proper record keeping documentation.<br />

In addition, the Station documents and retains information about its long-term<br />

recruitment initiatives. These files generally include, but are not limited to, the following<br />

information: the nature and date <strong>of</strong> each activity; the scope <strong>of</strong> the Station’s participation and the<br />

names and titles <strong>of</strong> the Station personnel involved. The station retained the required record<br />

keeping documentation for its recruitment initiatives in this reporting year.<br />

III.<br />

Recruiting for Full-Time Open Positions<br />

During the reporting time frame, three (3) positions were posted, and (2) positions were<br />

filled. The chart at the end <strong>of</strong> this section has details about the: positions; interviewees for the<br />

positions; referral sources for the interviewees; and names <strong>of</strong> hires.<br />

All positions during this reporting period were forwarded to the <strong>Disney</strong> Media Networks<br />

Human Resources department, which posted the job listings on <strong>Disney</strong>Careers.com.<br />

Documentation for each job posting is included in the record keeping file and all positions were<br />

posted as required.<br />

Two (2) positions <strong>of</strong> Account Executive were opened on August 29, 2012. One (1) was<br />

filled on October 24, 2012 and one (1) was filled on December 3, 2012. Notice <strong>of</strong> job vacancies<br />

were posted on <strong>Disney</strong>Careers.com, Monster.com, Alliance for Women in Media, Portland<br />

Craigslist, Oregon Employment Department and distributed to the station’s local recruitment<br />

contact list (Attachment A). Joint postings were made for all recruitment efforts as the two (2)<br />

positions were posted on the same day. Six (6) candidates were interviewed and two (2) hires<br />

were made for the positions. Documentation is included in the record keeping file for these<br />

positions.<br />
