What do these subjects all have in common They’re about finding out about the world in which we
live – the people in the past who helped shape the world, the diverse people around the world and
how their environment affects them, and about people’s beliefs and values.
understanding
For children to learn effectively they need to be engaged – and we do this
through a vast number of trips, visits and visitors that enrich the topics
and themes. From trips to the Hindu Temple in Neasden, to the Imperial
War Museum, from Hampton Court to Dulwich Park, from Mexicolore to
the British Museum.
We also run Victorian Day and Greek Day, and a very special Talents
Project based on the New Testament parable, in which money is raised
for a school in Ghana.
Geography is interesting because you study different
“countries and it helps you if you visit another country.
