Remember to check the type of grower when seeking a variety.<br />
If you are a member of the general public look for growers with code 1 or 2 against<br />
their code. If you cannot find a grower with that code then those with a 3 may be able<br />
to help you, but those with 4 are STRICTLY <strong>WHO</strong>LESALERS.<br />
If you are a local authority, Garden Centre, Shop or similar looking to stock British<br />
grown roses, then look firstly for growers with a 3 or 4 against their code. Failing that<br />
then look at pages 67-69 for full details of what individual growers can do to help you.<br />
Most Growers offer a Mail Order service on bare-rooted roses from sometime in<br />
October to around the end of March. Those who have codes marked with * against<br />
them only offer roses in containers. You will find that several growers are offering a<br />
Mail Order service on container roses (mainly in Spring and Summer) this is shown in<br />
their Growers Details.<br />
