5. Depending on how much power we put
into the initialisation of the pass and how
well we have timed the highest point of the
jump we will experience a short time when
we are more or less weightless. Pass the
bar behind the back with a swift movement
and try to grab it on the other side with
your free hand.
6. Hopefully the pass worked out and you
now hold the bar with the other hand. If not
the kite will probably loop and you better
get prepared for a hard crash… One way
to stop the kite from doing a loop and
make the crash a little less painful is to
grab the kite in the chicken-loop in order to
sheet out and stop the rotation.
7. Now you have to try to grab the bar with
both hands before you land. It is possible
to land with only one hand, but it is hard to
land it clean and a fair chance that you’ll
either land it on your back or loop the kite
and land with too much speed.
8. You made it! Now you can just hook
back in and checkout if any of your friends
saw you – congratulations!
