of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Spanning three centuries, the spirit of Mother Mary Frances
Clarke has inspired the life and mission of some 4,500 women
pioneering in church and society. Going wherever needs are
greatest, followers of that foundress from Dublin still live out
the Congregation’s core values: freedom, education, charity,
and justice. Carmel Catholic High School has been blessed to
benefit from their dedicated work for fifty years.
Order of Carmelites
province of the most pure heart of mary
The Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary traces its history
back to the time of the Crusades. Carmelites became quite well
known for their writings, their preaching, their art, and lifestyle.
Members of the order search to serve God, the church, and
others seeking a deeper relationship with God. The Carmelites
opened the doors to Carmel Catholic High School in 1962.
Their legacy is alive today!
