Overview of Rail Engineering in <strong>Thailand</strong> will be covered for understanding of general audiences. Topics<br />
to be presented include Rolling Stock, Signalling and Telecommunication, Permanent Way and Track works,<br />
and Rail Infrastructure.<br />
<strong>Biography</strong><br />
Dr. Wichai Siwakosit has been with the Mechanical Engineering at Kasetsart<br />
University for 18 years. He is currently coordinating people in Thai Rail Industry for<br />
the purpose of Rail Engineering Education, Professional Services, and Research. He<br />
is a founding member of KURAIL of Kasetsart University in Bangkok, <strong>Thailand</strong>. He<br />
earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at Davis in 2001.<br />
