One <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> following modules:<br />
Module 15: Gas Turbine Engine<br />
Module 16: Piston Engine<br />
h. Have sufficient training, skill and experience for <strong>the</strong> type <strong>of</strong> activities sought;<br />
i. Have, in <strong>the</strong> opinion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Director</strong>-<strong>General</strong>, a thorough knowledge gained by<br />
working experience <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Hong Kong regulations, requirements and procedures<br />
applicable to <strong>the</strong> ODA functions; and<br />
j. Have, in <strong>the</strong> opinion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Director</strong>-<strong>General</strong>, demonstrated sound judgment and<br />
integrity.<br />
2. ODA quality assurance auditor<br />
The ODA quality assurance auditor (QAA) shall have technical and auditing<br />
experience. This experience shall enable <strong>the</strong> ODA QAA to carry out <strong>the</strong> self-audit<br />
activities effectively. The ODA QAA shall satisfy <strong>the</strong> following criteria:<br />
a. Be a qualified auditor;<br />
b. Have not less that eight years <strong>of</strong> progressively more responsible related<br />
aeronautical engineering experience on projects similar to those activities sought;<br />
c. Have not less that three years <strong>of</strong> progressively more responsible related aviation<br />
auditing experience;<br />
h. Have successfully completed <strong>the</strong> following training courses:<br />
i. Hong Kong Airworthiness Course;<br />
ii.<br />
iii.<br />
iv.<br />
<strong>HKAR</strong>-<strong>183</strong> Course;<br />
a training course given by <strong>the</strong> ODA unit to develop a satisfactory level <strong>of</strong><br />
knowledge <strong>of</strong> ODA policies and procedures; and<br />
an auditing technique course;<br />
d. Have sufficient training, skill and experience for <strong>the</strong> type <strong>of</strong> activities sought.<br />
Λ Note:<br />
For organisations located outside Hong Kong, equivalent membership <strong>of</strong> national<br />
engineering institutions/authorities may be acceptable to <strong>the</strong> <strong>Director</strong>-<strong>General</strong>.<br />
