Car parking is available close to many of our trails and<br />
tracks, while information boards and maps make it<br />
easy for the novice. The experienced walker and hiker<br />

Named after a local legend, the spectacular<br />
Devil’s Bit Mountain does not disappoint.<br />
According to local legend, the mountain got its name<br />
because the Devil took a bite out of it one day in a fit of anger. They say<br />
the bite the Devil took made this gap that can be seen today. The story<br />
goes that the lump he bit off fell nearby to form the Rock of Cashel.<br />
