they do!
Thinking of setting up as
an autoentrepreneur
If an official looking letter and
form arrive from ‘Inforegistre’,
demanding payment for
entry into an online business
register, ignore it! There are
NO compulsory directory
registrations and this is simply a
way of scamming money out of
new businesses!
delivered within France rose
at the beginning of July to
€0.58 for a ‘tarif prioritaire’ (first
class) and €0.53 for a ‘tarif
French composer Edmond
Audran was an unknown
until he produced hit
production, La Mascotte,
in 1880, The opera, named
after a provincial French
word for a witch, followed
a central character who
had such good luck
that theatregoers were
sure it had to come from
supernatural sources. As the
show expanded throughout
Europe, the title of the opera
came to describe any object
or person bringing good
fortune
The scrap bonus scheme (prime
à la casse) introduced by the
French government nearly two
years ago to encourage the
buying of new cars is being
phased out. The original offer
of €1,000 towards a new car
when the old one was scrapped
was reduced to €700 at the
beginning of this year, dropped
again in July to €500, and will be
completely ‘scrapped’ by 2011.
Doctors and medicines
Fees for GPs go up in
January 2011, €22 to €23.
Reimbursement for
prescription medicines will
also be reduced. Medicines are
reimbursed at different rates,
which are shown by the colour of
the label.
On your bike…
It may well become a legal
requirement in France in the
future to wear a cycle helmet
and fluorescent jacket. As yet,
this is not law but has been
proposed in parliament.
