Client: Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC)<br />
<strong>Atkins</strong> assisted the IOC (part of UNESCO) in planning future research<br />
<strong>and</strong> programmes to assist all <strong>coastal</strong> nations around the world.<br />
The <strong>Atkins</strong> team work closely with UNESCO in producing an online<br />
questionnaire <strong>and</strong> subsequent analysis report to establish a working<br />
group on the “Future of the IOC.” This was established to help<br />
prioritise attention on where Member States require specific <strong>coastal</strong><br />
<strong>and</strong> oceanographic research needs in the coming decade.<br />
