The Business School orientation is a half-day programme held on
Wednesday 27 February, Thursday 28 February and Friday 1 March.
All new BCom, BBIM, BProp and conjoint students will be sent (via email)
a Business School welcome pack which includes details about how to
register for one of these programmes. Our recommended orientation
sessions are spread across the week allowing you to choose the right
combination that fits your schedule.
We encourage you to take the opportunity to attend the University and
Business School-related orientation sessions and prepare for your first
year in the Business School by learning about essential strategies for
successful study. During these orientation sessions you will be introduced
to the different learning environments you will encounter as a Business
School student, find out what is expected of you in your Business School
courses, learn how to manage your studies and communicate effectively,
meet other first-year students and receive plenty of tips about getting
started in your business degree from Business School staff and secondyear
students.
