<strong>The</strong> Business School orientation is a half-day programme held on<br />

Wednesday 27 February, Thursday 28 February and Friday 1 March.<br />

All new BCom, BBIM, BProp and conjoint students will be sent (via email)<br />

a Business School welcome pack which includes details about how to<br />

register for one <strong>of</strong> these programmes. Our recommended orientation<br />

sessions are spread across the week allowing you to choose the right<br />

combination that fits your schedule.<br />

We encourage you to take the opportunity to attend the <strong>University</strong> and<br />

Business School-related orientation sessions and prepare for your first<br />

year in the Business School by learning about essential strategies for<br />

successful study. During these orientation sessions you will be introduced<br />

to the different learning environments you will encounter as a Business<br />

School student, find out what is expected <strong>of</strong> you in your Business School<br />

courses, learn how to manage your studies and communicate effectively,<br />

meet other first-year students and receive plenty <strong>of</strong> tips about getting<br />

started in your business degree from Business School staff and secondyear<br />

students.<br />
