of Directors for the Producers Guild of America. He has been awarded the NATO ShoWest Producer<br />

of the Year award, the Producers Guild of America David O. Selznick Achievement Award in<br />

Theatrical Motion Pictures, The <strong>Hollywood</strong> Film Festival Producer of the Year Award, the Santa<br />

Barbara International Film Festival's Producer of the Year, the Motion Picture Club's Producer of<br />

the Year, The Saturn Award, the Los Angeles Father of the Year Award, and Friends of Cancer Research<br />

Advocacy's Lifetime Achievement Award.<br />

LUCY FISHER (Producer) is the former Vice Chairman of the Columbia Tri-Star Motion Picture<br />

Group at Sony Studios, and an award-winning motion picture producer. Along with her partner and<br />

husband, Douglas Wick, she is Co-head of Red Wagon Entertainment.<br />

Currently in production for Fisher, and slated for a Spring 2014 release, is the adaptation of Veronica<br />

Roth's New York Times bestselling Young Adult novel Divergent, directed by Neil Burger and<br />

starring Shailene Woodley and Kate Winslet. Fisher and Wick's "Lawless," which starred Jessica<br />

Chastain, Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy, premiered last year at Cannes.<br />

During Fisher's tenure as Vice Chairman at Sony, the studio broke all-time industry records for biggest<br />

domestic and worldwide grosses with films she supervised, which included "Men in Black,"<br />

"My Best Friend's Wedding," "Air Force One," "Jerry Maguire," "As Good As It Gets" and "Stuart<br />

Little." After leaving the executive suite, Fisher partnered with Oscar®-winning producer Douglas<br />

Wick, and together they produced a wide range of critically acclaimed and popular movies, including<br />

"Jarhead," "Peter Pan," "Stuart Little 2," and "Memoirs of a Geisha," which was nominated for<br />

six Academy Awards® and won three Oscars®.<br />

Before moving to Sony, Fisher served for 14 years as Executive Vice President of Worldwide <strong>Production</strong><br />

at Warner Bros., where she developed and supervised a diverse range of films, including<br />

"The Fugitive," "The Color Purple," "Gremlins," "The Goonies," "Malcolm X," "Space Jam," "Empire<br />

of the Sun," "The Outsiders" and "The Witches of Eastwick." Fisher previously served as Vice<br />

President of <strong>Production</strong> at Twentieth Century Fox, before being tapped as Head of Worldwide <strong>Production</strong><br />

for Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope Studios.<br />

In addition to her creative achievements, Fisher is widely considered a pioneer for women and<br />

working mothers in the entertainment industry. She was the driving force behind the on-site Warner<br />

Bros. Studios Children's Center, which has since provided care for over 2,000 children and served<br />

as a prototype for day care centers at other studios.<br />

Fisher's many awards include the Producers Guild of America's David O. Selznick Achievement<br />

Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures, The <strong>Hollywood</strong> Film Festival Producer of the Year Award,<br />

the <strong>Hollywood</strong> Award for Outstanding Achievement in Producing, the Crystal Award from Women<br />

in Film, Premiere Magazine's Icon Award, and Friends of Cancer Research Advocacy's Lifetime<br />

Achievement Award. She has also been listed as one of Fortune magazine's 50 Most Powerful<br />

Women in American Business.<br />

After their youngest daughter was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, Fisher and Wick co-founded<br />

CuresNow, an organization which promotes regenerative medicine and stem cell research. Additionally,<br />

she has been a co-chair of Prop 71, the successful Stem Cell initiative in California, which<br />

now awards three billion dollars for stem cell research in the State of California.<br />
