MAV Municipal Association of Victoria The MAV is the peak representative and advocacy body for Victoria's 79 councils. The
MAV was formed in 1879 and the Municipal Association Act 1907 anointed the MAV
the official voice of Local Government in Victoria.

Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plans (MPHWB Ps) are a requirement of the
Local Government strategic planning process as specified in the Health Act (1958).
The plans outline action to prevent or minimize public health dangers, as well as to
enable people living in the municipality to achieve maximum health and wellbeing.
The National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling (NATSEM), an affiliated
research centre of the University of Canberra, is one of Australia’s leading
economic and social policy research institutes, and is regarded as one of the
world’s foremost centres of excellence for micro simulation, economic modelling
and policy evaluation.
SCPCP South Coast Primary Care Partnership The South Coast Primary Care Partnership is a voluntary alliance of health and
community based agencies who are working together in the municipalities of Bass
Coast and South Gippsland.
U3A University of the Third Age U3A are a self-funded, voluntary organisation formed to provide learning opportunities
to members aged 50 plus who are retired or not working full-time.
