Ferries
Transperth ferries operate daily (6.45am to 7.15pm) between
Barrack Street Jetty, Perth and Mends Street Jetty, South Perth
(the Perth Zoo is a short stroll from Mends Street). There are
several private ferry operators which offer a range of services
including scenic river cruises up and down river. Trips to
Rottnest Island operate from Barrack Street Jetty in Perth,
Northport at Rous Heads in North Fremantle, Victoria Quay and
East Street Jetty in Fremantle or the Hillarys Boat Harbour at
Hillarys, and whale watching cruises operate from Hillarys in
spring. Most ferry companies will offer transfers to and from
your accommodation but you should check with the operator.

Transperth Train
Around WA, the Transperth Train is a quick and easy way to
get around, with four lines taking you from Perth to Fremantle,
Armadale, Joondalup or Midland. Travel from Perth to
Fremantle, Midland or Joondalup, stopping all stations, takes
around half an hour; to Armadale takes around 40 minutes.
Some services are express and do not stop at all stations.
Services are reduced on weekends and public holidays but
run regularly.

Catch a cab
At Perth Airport, taxi ranks are located outside Terminal 1
(International), Terminals 2 & 3 (Domestic), Skippers Aviation and
National Jet Systems (on Valentine Road) and commissionaires
are available to assist you during peak movement periods.
Taxis Perth is well served by meter operated taxi cabs. There
are taxi ranks throughout the Perth central business district and
Fremantle, or they can be ordered by telephoning the major
operators:

Note: A special taxi service for passengers with disabilities

Esplanade Parking
Valet Parking
$25/ night, but depending on booking arrangement may be
reduced / compensated. The parking structure is secure yet not
fully undercover as there is parking on the top level of the
structure. There is open - air parking around the hotel. Street
parking is at an hourly rate, there is an open air parking facility,
located across the street, which charges $6 from whenever you
park until midnight that day. The Esplanade can provide parking
vouchers at $10 for the Collie Street parking, located just behind
the esplanade. Arrangements can be made for the vouchers to
be collected by delegates at the registration desk or for pick up
from the concierges.
