BIFA FREIGHT SERVICE AWARDS 2008
PEOPLE AWARD
YOUNG FREIGHT
FORWARDER AWARD
SPONSORED BY: JOHNSON STEVENS AGENCIES
The Young Freight Forwarder category is open to individuals, under the age of 30, with a
minimum of two years’ employment in the freight industry. Entrants must describe their career
achievements to date and show a commitment to the industry by demonstrating their goals and ambitions.
By entering this Award, individuals create their perfect chance to be recognised as the UK’s best Young Freight
Forwarder, whilst giving their employer the benefits of greater publicity and visibility.
By putting forward an entrant, employers demonstrate to their staff that they are serious about the standards
they uphold. Encouraging and motivating young individuals to succeed is a proven method of benefiting your
business, and encouraging other staff members to greater achievements.
Johnson Stevens Agencies became a BIFA Member in its early beginnings. It is a liner agent which has always been
a friend of the freight forwarding industry, and appreciates the closeness it has with the freight forwarding business.
Johnson Stevens Agencies continues to derive a substantial amount of its import and export business from freight
forwarders throughout the UK and Ireland, and it is, therefore, the right decision to sponsor the Young Freight
Forwarder Award to promote young people in the freight forwarding industry.
We view our contribution as a ‘thank-you’ from the Directors and Management of Johnson Stevens Agencies for
the closeness and the support that it derives from the BIFA Secretariat and the Association’s members.
