Hana Peljto Harvard Junior<br />
Forward Brooklyn Park Minn<br />
Peljto tied her career-high with 36 points and<br />
added 10 rebounds on 13-for-19 shooting as the<br />
Crimson outlasted Columbia 90-62. Then in the 77-71 win over<br />
Cornell, she had 25 points and six rebounds. For the week, she<br />
shot 21-of-34 from the field (62 percent) including six-of-eight<br />
from three point territory and averaged 30.5 points and eight<br />
rebounds as the Crimson won their 10th consecutive game. Her<br />
36-point outburst is just three points shy of the school record.<br />
<strong>Ivy</strong> <strong>League</strong> Rookie of the Week<br />
Rebecca Brown Princeton<br />
Center Nashville Tenn<br />
Brown continues to show the way for the Tigers,<br />
notching back-to-back double-doubles as the<br />
Tigers split two games. In their 73-60 loss to Brown, she had a<br />
career-highs with 23 points and 15 rebounds on 10-of-19 shooting.<br />
Then in the triple-overtime win at Yale, she had 16 points<br />
and 10 rebounds, her third double-double of the season. This is<br />
her second consecutive Rookie of the Week Award and third so<br />
far this season.<br />
<strong>Ivy</strong> <strong>League</strong> Honor Roll<br />
Holly Robertson Brown Sophomore Center Cochrane Alberta<br />
Robertson recorded a career-high 22 points in Brown's 83-72 victory over Penn.<br />
She was 11-for-18 from the field and also pulled down ten boards to record her<br />
second double double of the year. In the Bears 73-60 win over Princeton,<br />
Robertson added six points and two rebounds in just ten minutes of play.<br />
Sue Altman Columbia Junior Guard Clinton NJ<br />
Altman had a career-high 33 points in the 90-62 loss to Harvard, becoming the<br />
first Columbia woman to score 30 or more points in 16 years. She made 12 of 13<br />
free throws and a grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. In the 62-48 loss to<br />
Dartmouth, she had a team-leading 15 points, while chipping in five boards and<br />
an assist. In her last seven games, Altman has averaged 21.7 points per game.<br />
Karen Force Cornell Senior Guard Columbus Ind<br />
Force had 12 points and tied her season-high with eight assists in the 63-58 loss to<br />
Dartmouth. Then in the 77-71 loss to Harvard, she scored 27 points, including a<br />
career-high five 3-pointers and added five assists. Over her last six games, Force<br />
has averaged 20.2 points per game.<br />
Katharine Hanks Dartmouth Senior Forward Bloomfield Hills Mich<br />
Hanks averaged 14.5 ppg and 9.5 rpg as the Big Green swept its second second<br />
straight <strong>Ivy</strong> weekend and won its fifth overall. Hanks recorded a double-double<br />
with 11 points and 13 rebounds in the 63-58 win over Cornell. She followed that<br />
up with 18 points and six rebounds in the 62-48 win at Columbia.<br />

Clark averaged 22.5 points and nine rebounds as the Quakers split a pair of contests<br />
over the weekend. She scored eight of her 24 points in overtime to help the Red<br />
and Blue pull away to a 71-65 win over Yale. For an encore, she scored 21 points<br />
on seven-of-13 shoooting and seven-for-seven from the free throw line to go with<br />
six rebounds in the 83-72 loss to Brown.<br />
Kelly Schaeffer Princeton Junior Guard South Huntington NY<br />
Schaeffer averaged 17.5 points as the Tigers split a pair of games over the weekend.<br />
In the 73-60 loss to Brown, Schaeffer had 19 points, including two from behind the<br />
arc. Then in the 94-92 triple-overtime win at Yale, she had 16 points and four more<br />
three pointers.<br />
Morgan Richards Yale Sophomore Guard Seattle Wash<br />
Richards was the all-around catalyst for the Bulldogs in a pair of overtime losses.<br />
In the triple-overtime 94-92 loss to Princeton, Richards had 16 points, a careerhigh<br />
16 rebounds and six assists. For the week, she averaged 14 points, 11<br />
rebounds and 4.5 assists. She leads the team in assists, steals and is second in<br />
rebounds.

Brown Bears <strong>Ivy</strong><br />
Brown topped the Princeton 73-60, with Tanara Golston (Skokie,<br />
Ill.) leading the way, scoring 17 points and dishing out six assists ...<br />
Also scoring in double digits for the Bears was freshman Sarah<br />
Hayes (Beaufort, S.C.) with 15 ... Brown then went on to defeat<br />
Penn 83-72 where five different players scored in double digits and<br />
two recorded double-doubles ... Hayes led the Bears in rebounds<br />
pulling down 12, she also recorded ten points for her second double-double<br />
of the year ... Sophomore Holly Robertson (Cochrane,<br />
ALB) also recorded a double-double with 22 points and ten<br />
rebounds ... Leading the Bears in scoring was junior Nyema<br />
Mitchell (Birmingham, Ala.) with 24 ... Mitchell also pulled down<br />
seven boards ... Also scoring in double digits for the Bears was<br />
freshman Colleen Kelly (Rochester, N.Y.) with 13 and Golston with<br />
11 ... Kelly also dished out six assists ... The Bears will travel to<br />
Columbia and Cornell this weekend.<br />
Columbia Lions ( <strong>Ivy</strong>)<br />
Sue Altman (Clinton, N.J.) had a career-high 33 points in the loss<br />
to Harvard ... She is the first women to score over 30 points in a<br />
game since Kristina Tyer had 31 against Stony Brook on 2/10/87 ...<br />
Altman has led the Lions in scoring in the last seven games, averaging<br />
21.7 ppg for the timeframe ... Carolyn Schook (St. Paul,<br />
Minn.) had her first career double-double with 10 points and a<br />
team-leading 10 boards ... Patricia Kern (New Rochelle, N.Y.)<br />
passed the 400 assist mark and now stands at 402, just 26 away<br />
from entering the top ten in <strong>Ivy</strong> history ... The Lions' 10-11 overall<br />
record marks the first time this season the team has fallen below<br />
.500.<br />
Cornell Big Red ( <strong>Ivy</strong>)<br />
The Big Red suffered a pair of tough losses over the weekend, first<br />
falling to Dartmouth 73-68 before dropping a 77-71 contest to<br />
Harvard ... Senior Lynell Davis (Palatine, Ill.) tallied 18 points and<br />
tied a career-high with 14 rebounds against the Big Green ... Junior<br />
Karen Force (Columbus, Ind.) scored 27 points, her highest total<br />
ever at Newman Arena, in the Big Red's loss to Harvard and had a<br />
combined 13 assists in the two games ... Against Dartmouth, Force<br />
notched her 109th made free throw of the season to break Cornell's<br />
season-record of 108 set by Rhonda Anderson' 83 in 1982-83 and<br />
Do Stevens last year ... Freshman Sarah Brown (Coral Springs,<br />
Fla.) played the final 10 minutes of game against the Crimson and<br />
turned in a solid performance, scoring the first five points of her<br />
career, including a 3-pointer with 2:12 remaining to tie the game to<br />
erase a 17-point halftime deficit ... Junior Lauren Kilduff<br />
(Flushing, N.Y.) combined for 15 points and 13 rebounds, including<br />
10 on the offensive glass, over the two games ... The Big Red<br />
will stay at home and face Yale on Friday, and Brown on Saturday.<br />
Dartmouth Big Green ( <strong>Ivy</strong>)<br />
The Big Green has won five in a row for the first time since the<br />
1995-96 season ... The Big Green will go for seven straight with<br />
weekend games at Princeton and Penn ... Senior Katharine Hanks<br />
(Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) averaged 14.5 ppg and 9.5 rpg as the Big<br />
Green ... She recorded a double-double with 11 points and 13<br />
rebounds in the win over Cornell ... It was her eighth this season<br />
and the 39th of her career ... She followed that up with 18 points<br />
and six rebounds in the 62-48 Columbia win ... Freshman Angela<br />
Soriaga (College Station, Texas) averaged 12.0 and 6.5 apg in the<br />
two wins ... She committed just three turnovers in 76 minutes of<br />
action ... She scored 15 points and handed out seven assists versus<br />
Cornell and scored nine points, dished out six assists and had four<br />
steals versus Columbia ... During the Big Green's five-game winning<br />
streak, Dartmouth is averaging 71.6 ppg and yielding just 59.6<br />
... The Big Green is holding its opponents to just 34.5 percent<br />
shooting from the floor ... Senior Keri Downs (Everett, Mass.) has<br />
averaged 13.0 ppg qnd is connecting on 53.3 percent of her shots ...<br />
She scored 18 points in the win over Columbia on Saturday night.<br />
Harvard Crimson ( <strong>Ivy</strong>)<br />
Harvard is 16-4 overall, and 8-0 in the <strong>Ivy</strong> <strong>League</strong> ... The Crimson<br />
have now won 10 straight contests, and currently holds the program's<br />
best record since the 1997-98 season ... Hana Peljto<br />
(Brooklyn Park, Minn.) matched her career-best 36 points in the 90-<br />
62 win over Columbia ... That total is second only to Allison<br />
Feaster's career-high 39 points for the most points in a game in the<br />
program's history ... Peljto leads the Crimson in scoring, averaging<br />
22.2 ppg, and rebounding (9.8 rpg) ... Tricia Tubridy (Broad<br />
Channel, N.Y.), coming off a week in which she notched the program’s<br />
first triple-double, registered six points, six assists and 10<br />
rebounds in the win over Columbia ... Then against Cornell, she<br />
had another all-around performance with eight points, six<br />
rebounds, and four assists in 29 minutes of action.<br />
Penn Quakers ( <strong>Ivy</strong>)<br />
Jewel Clark (Waldorf, Md.) continued her offensive surge against<br />
the <strong>Ivy</strong> <strong>League</strong> as she scored 24 points against Yale and 21 points<br />
against Brown ... Tara Twomey (Camp Hill, Pa.) needs just 23<br />
assists to become the third Quaker in history to record 400 assists<br />
in her career ... Clark scored the first eight points in overtime to<br />
help Penn defeat Yale, 71-65 ... Katie Kilker (Langhorne, Pa.) had a<br />
double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds against Yale and<br />
had 16 points nad nine rebounds against Brown ... Karen<br />
Habrukowich (Newtown, Pa.) averaged 17.5 points against Yale<br />
and Brown ... Penn is 2-0 in overtime contests this season.<br />
Princeton Tigers ( <strong>Ivy</strong>)<br />
Seniors Allison Cahill (Uxbridge, Mass.) and Maureen Lane<br />
(Seattle, Wash.) each reached the 1,000 point plateau in the tripleovertime<br />
win at Yale ... They both rank in the top ten in career<br />
three pointers made in <strong>Ivy</strong> history ... Lane ranks fifth with 179<br />
made while Cahill is right behind her in sixth with 176 made ...<br />
Four Tigers are averaging atleast one three pointer made per game<br />
... Karen Bolster (Kendall Park, N.J.), 36, Cahill, 31, Lane, 26 and<br />
Kelly Schaeffer (Huntington, N.Y.) 23 have all made atleast 20 ...<br />
The Tigers host Dartmouth and Harvard weekend, with those<br />
teams combining for 15 straight wins.<br />
Yale Bulldogs ( <strong>Ivy</strong>)<br />
The Bulldogs dropped a pair of overtime home contests to Penn<br />
and Princeton ... It was the first time in the program's history that<br />
Yale played consecutive overtime games, and the triple overtime<br />
game with Princeton is the longest game in school history ... In the<br />
loss to Penn, Lindsay Page (Mulkiteo, Wash.) had a double-double<br />
with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Noel Beagle (Gorham,<br />
Maine) had career-highs in points (seven) and rebounds (10) in<br />
only 13 minutes of action ... A number of career marks were set in<br />
the loss to the Tigers ... Christina Phillips (Hartford, Conn.) (28<br />
points) and Julie Cohen (Hinsdale, Ill.) (16 points) both set careerhighs<br />
in scoring ... Morgan Richards (Seattle, Wash.) pulled down<br />
a career-high 16 rebounds ... The 16 rebounds are a team-high this<br />
