Calahan scored the game-winning tally with no time remainingon the clock to give Penn its first win over Princeton in 10 years and a share of the <strong>Ivy</strong> Crownwith Harvard. Calahan scored the first goal of the game with five minutes left in the first halfto give the Quakers the advantage heading into the second half. Calahan has scored sevengoals this season and added five assists.Rookie of the WeekYale freshman forward Catherine Lindroth (Farmington, Conn.) scored the second goal of her collegiate career on an unassisted tally against Brownon Saturday to give the Bulldogs a crucial first half goal that would lead to Yale’s eventual 3-2 overtime victory. Lindroth, who was not a starter untilmidway through this season, ended up finishing the season with two goals and two assists for six points.<strong>Ivy</strong> Honor RollPenn freshman back Melissa Black (Lansdale, Pa.) continued to back the Quakers up on defense as she helped keep 16 of Princeton's 17 shots out ofthe cage. Black, who is part of a defense that ranks sixth in scoring defense, stepped up to help organize the defense and midfield.Yale senior Sarah Driscoll scored both the game-tying and game-winning goals in Yale’s overtime win against Brown on Saturday. Although theBulldogs had trailed for over half the contest, Driscoll evened up the score with an unassisted goal with 30 minutes left in regulation. Driscoll thenscored her second unassisted goal seven minutes into overtime to give Yale a 3-2 victory. Driscoll finished the season second on the team in totalpoints (3g, 6a, 19p) and is currently Yale’s all-time career leader in assists with 42.Cornell senior attack Danielle Dunn (Villanova, Pa.) scored a pair of second-half goals in the Big Red's season finale against Dartmouth. Her firsttally was a great individual effort from the left edge of the circle and her final goal came on an assist from classmate Gina Testa. Dunn finished theyear with team-high 20 points, the most by a Big Red player in four years.Dartmouth junior back Nina Fulmer (Rye, N.Y.) played a large part in the Big Green's offensive explosion on Sunday at Cornell, netting her first twogoals of the season. Fulmer netted a goal in each half as she scored for the first time since she scored one goal as a freshman. Her first goal put theBig Green up 2-0, and her second gave Dartmouth a commanding 5-1 lead and proved to be the Big Green's final tally of the season.Columbia sophomore goalkeeper Kristina George (Encinitas, Calif.) had a stellar game in goal for the Lions' in Columbia's 2-0 loss to <strong>Ivy</strong> Co-Champion Harvard. Despite making just five saves, George got to numerous loose balls to ward off a dangerous Crimson offense. George finishesthe season ranked third in total saves in the <strong>Ivy</strong> <strong>League</strong> with 104.Dartmouth freshman Katy Hagy (Bedford, N.H.) capped a strong freshman season by tallying her first collegiate goal on Sunday at Cornell. With herteam up 3-0, she scored 46 seconds after halftime for Dartmouth's fourth goal, its single-game high in 2004. The goal came on just her third shot thisseason.Brown freshman midfielder Ani Kazarian (Providence, R.I.) helped lead Brown against Yale with her third goal of the year. After Brown fell behind,1-0, early in the game, the Bears tied the game at 1-1. Less than 7 minutes later, Kazarian put the Bears up 2-1 on a beautiful open-field goal. Brownheld onto the lead for nearly 30 minutes until Yale tied the contest again early in the final half.Harvard junior Jen McDavitt (Walpole, Mass.) scored a goal and assisted on the second in Harvard's 2-0 win over Columbia to clinch the program'sfirst <strong>Ivy</strong> <strong>League</strong> title. McDavitt now was 28 points (4g, 18a) this season, making her Harvard's all-time single-season assists leader.Princeton freshman midfielder Paige Schmidt (Westtown, Pa.) scored a spectacular backhanded goal last Friday against Penn, tying the game at 1-1early in the second half. Her goal came from near the top of the circle while closely guarded. Schmidt finished the year with four goals and twoassists.
