<strong>The</strong> 22th General Council meeting of the 55th Elected Council of the <strong>Six</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> of the <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>River</strong><br />

Territory was held on the above noted date held in the Council Chambers of the Administration<br />

Building, Ohsweken, Ontario, with Councillor George Montour presiding as Chair.<br />

Representative in attendance requesting a <strong>Six</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Council Resolution indicating <strong>Six</strong> <strong>Nations</strong><br />

Elected Councils support of their application for funding to the Trillium Foundation.<br />

Moved by Ava Hill and seconded by Helen Miller that the <strong>Six</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Elected Council are in support<br />

of the <strong>Six</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Jr B Rebels Lacrosse Associations application for funding from the Trillium<br />

Foundation in their efforts to raise funds for hosting the 2012 Founders Cup.<br />

26, <strong>2011</strong> General Council Minutes as presented on this day.<br />

(5) RECOGNITON OF BUSINESS<br />

recognize Skye’s Corn owned by Christine Skye as a business operating on <strong>Six</strong> <strong>Nations</strong>.<br />

(6) COMMITTEE DESIGNATION<br />

Moved by Robert Johnson and seconded by Lewis Staats that the <strong>Six</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Elected Council accept<br />

the revised 55 th Elected Council Committee Representation list with changes as presented on this day.<br />

NEW BUSINESS – RUNNING ROOM PILOT PROJECT<br />

Request for First <strong>Nations</strong> to be a host community for Forest Fire victims. <strong>The</strong>re will be some<br />

financial recovery.<br />

<strong>The</strong> details will be worked out administratively if Council approves.<br />

<strong>Six</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Community being the pilot project for Aboriginal Children and Youth Fitness being
