For your safety and the safety of others, we have provided some basic safety instructions. We have also<br />

included safety stickers on the plow itself as a reminder. We recommend that you read and understand<br />

all safety instructions before operating the plow system. It is not possible to warn you about all potential<br />

safety risks when using this plow system. We suggest operating cautiously and using good judgment in<br />

addition to reading and understanding the following:<br />

Read snowplow instructions, <strong>ATV</strong> operators manual, and safety decals before operating.<br />

Wear safety protection as recommended in <strong>ATV</strong> operators manual.<br />

When plowing snow into a pile, start backing up before raising the blade.<br />

Keep bystanders away from plow or <strong>ATV</strong> while plowing or stationary<br />

When blade is not in use, stop <strong>ATV</strong> engine, lock brakes, and lower blade to the ground.<br />

Do not exceed 5 MPH with blade installed.<br />

Operate with extreme caution on slopes, steep grades, and rough terrain.<br />

Do not allow riders on blade or <strong>ATV</strong> while moving or stationary<br />

Be aware of hidden objects under the snow as they may violently alter the speed and<br />

direction of the <strong>ATV</strong>.<br />

Do not exceed 5 MPH with plow mount installed even with plow and push tubes removed.<br />

Remove <strong>Plow</strong> <strong>Mount</strong> before resuming normal trail use.<br />

Assembly Instructions<br />

Thank you for purchasing the Tusk <strong>SubZero</strong> <strong>Plow</strong> System.<br />

An installation video is available on our website. Assembly instructions are not difficult but should be<br />

followed precisely and in order. Two people and proper tools will make the assembly go smoothly.


Tools needed:<br />

10mm socket<br />

10mm end wrench<br />

13mm socket<br />

Disassembly:<br />

1. Safely support vehicle so you can access the undercarriage. For illustration purposes only, we<br />

have the machine standing on end.<br />

2. Remove stock plastic skid plate. The stock plastic skid plate will not be used while the plow<br />

mount is on the machine. See picture.<br />

<strong>Mount</strong>ing:<br />

1. Take note of “U” plow clamp mounting positions.


2. Orient the plow mount as pictured below. This is a great time to get an extra set of hands.<br />

3. Slide the “U” plow mount clamps into position by lining up the holes.<br />

4. Using M8 x 25mm hex bolts, insert from bottom up—through flat washer, through mount plate<br />

and into clamps. Leave loose. Repeat on all four corners.<br />

5. Center plate and tighten bolts evenly.<br />
