CHILD SAFETY
LOST CHILDREN
The WTFW&JF shall encourage realistic precautions that protect children/young
people from anyone who may pose a threat them. Precautions may include
ensuring security and staff respond immediately to lost children.
Anyone finding a lost child or person should stay with the child at the same
location for a short period to wait for a parent or guardian to return. An
announcement may be made over the loudspeaker indicating that a child has been
lost and the parents should report to the appropriate location. A brief description
of the child will be circulated through staff. If the child or person is not picked
up within 60 minutes of the event’s conclusion, Police will be notified by the
Coordinator.
