COMMUNITY CENTER
RENTALS
There are 3 different time slots for rentals:
Monday through Friday: 3:30 pm - 11 pm
Weekends: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and
5:00 pm - 11 pm
Rental Fees: $125 per time slot and a
$200 damage deposit. If more than one
consecutive time slot is rented, the additional
slot rental is $75.
Concert rentals after 5:00 p.m. will have a
City of Hiawatha Police Officer present at an
expense to the renter at a rate of $20.00 per
hour.
Refunds & Cancellations:
$25.00 fee for cancellations
No refund if cancelled within 48 hours of
function
General Information: The Center is
approximately 2200 square feet and holds
170-250 people. The kitchen has a stove,
microwave, refrigerator. Audio and video
equipment is a available for rental.
An insurance policy number is required.
Reservations: Stop by Hiawatha City Hall,
101 Emmons Street, to fill out registration
forms and make payment.

RENTALS
Pavilions for Rental:
Guthridge Park: 2 pavilions
Tucker Park: 2 pavilions
Kainz Drive: 1 pavilion
Fay M. Clark Memorial Park: 1 pavilion
Park Time slot rental:
• 6:00 am - 11:30 am
• Noon - 4:30 pm
• 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Rental Fees: $25 per time slot or $60 for the
whole day
Alcoholic beverage use restrictions:
No person shall bring, use, consume, or have
in his or her possession, in a city park, beer in
a keg or any other container larger than one
quart, except beer permit holders and
suppliers or vendors authorized by the City
Council. No person shall bring, use, or
consume beer in or within any playing area,
fields, or courts. All other types of alcoholic
beverages are prohibited in city parks. Be
prepared to carry out your trash to avoid
overflow.
All pets must be on leash and all droppings
must be immediately cleaned up and disposed
of in a proper manner.
Large group rental fees may apply
Park pavilions usually open around the
15th of April and close the 15th of October.
Weather permitting.
