YOUTH SPORTS
TENNIS LESSONS
Hiawatha is offering tennis lessons through the Westfield Tennis Club.
Sessions will be held at the tennis courts located in Guthridge Park and held
June through August. Please register at Hiawatha City Hall. Only rain dates
will be made up. Payments will be on a monthly basis. Class size will be 3-4
students. If there is only 1 student registered, the class will be 1/2 hour.

HIAWATHA DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT
Saturday, June 6th — Sign-up begins at 8:00am
Come out and join us for a day of fun at our newest park in
Hiawatha! Sign up for the tournament begins at 8am, and continues until
NEW!
Form your teams and join us in Guthridge Park on Wednesday nights for
a fun night of Volleyball. Teams may be of any age and any gender
combination. A team may consist of 4-6 players on the court at one time. This is a great
chance for teams that are just learning, or want to have fun. This is also a great opportunity
for High School teams and Middle School teams to play in the sand. It will be a 7 week
session round robin format. Teams will play at either 6:00 or 7:00. The
overall record will decide the winner. Winners will receive a t-shirt.
The league will play rain or shine.

Team Cost: $60.00
Times: 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM
Team Limit: 8

If your team has minors on it please turn in a minor
consent form with your team registration.

9:15am. The tournament begins at 10:00am, with a lunch break after the first round at
12:30pm. Lunch will be catered in by a local vendor. The second round begins at 1:30pm.
Participants will play two rounds of 18 holes. There will be divisions of play for all levels of
competition. Discs will be available for sale the day of the event. Registration and prices will be
posted closer to the date of the tournament.

HIAWATHA KIDS LEAGUE
T-ball/Baseball/Softball are available for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th.
