TENNIS LESSONS<br />

<strong>Hiawatha</strong> is <strong>of</strong>fering tennis lessons through the Westfield Tennis Club.<br />

Sessions will be held at the tennis courts located in Guthridge Park and held<br />

June through August. Please register at <strong>Hiawatha</strong> <strong>City</strong> Hall. Only rain dates<br />

will be made up. Payments will be on a monthly basis. Class size will be 3-4<br />

students. If there is only 1 student registered, the class will be 1/2 hour.<br />

HIAWATHA DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT<br />

Saturday, June 6th — Sign-up begins at 8:00am<br />

Come out and join us for a day <strong>of</strong> fun at our newest park in<br />

<strong>Hiawatha</strong>! Sign up for the tournament begins at 8am, and continues until<br />

NEW!<br />

Form your teams and join us in Guthridge Park on Wednesday nights for<br />

a fun night <strong>of</strong> Volleyball. Teams may be <strong>of</strong> any age and any gender<br />

combination. A team may consist <strong>of</strong> 4-6 players on the court at one time. This is a great<br />

chance for teams that are just learning, or want to have fun. This is also a great opportunity<br />

for High School teams and Middle School teams to play in the sand. It will be a 7 week<br />

session round robin format. Teams will play at either 6:00 or 7:00. The<br />

overall record will decide the winner. Winners will receive a t-shirt.<br />

The league will play rain or shine.<br />

Dates; June 17– July 29<br />

Team Cost: $60.00<br />

Times: 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM<br />

Team Limit: 8<br />

Registration Forms available at <strong>Hiawatha</strong> <strong>City</strong> Hall.<br />

If your team has minors on it please turn in a minor<br />

consent form with your team registration.<br />

9:15am. The tournament begins at 10:00am, with a lunch break after the first round at<br />

12:30pm. Lunch will be catered in by a local vendor. The second round begins at 1:30pm.<br />

Participants will play two rounds <strong>of</strong> 18 holes. There will be divisions <strong>of</strong> play for all levels <strong>of</strong><br />

competition. Discs will be available for sale the day <strong>of</strong> the event. Registration and prices will be<br />

posted closer to the date <strong>of</strong> the tournament.<br />

HIAWATHA KIDS LEAGUE<br />

T-ball/Baseball/S<strong>of</strong>tball are available for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th.<br />
