The 1st speed outer ring for the 22A1021 gear assembly is sometimes available separately as the repair
part 22A1021A. However its compatibility with an old 2nd speed synchro hub cannot be completely
guaranteed as the outer ring and hub were designed to be supplied as a matched pair.
