Join the fun at Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards for a Valentine’s<br />
Day concert performed by ’80s cover band Choppin’ Broccoli. Dance<br />
the night away to “Love Through the Ages” and enjoy crepes with<br />
glorious bubbly from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.on Thursday, February 14.<br />
The concert begins at 7 p.m. VIP ticket includes table service<br />
featuring Tête de Cuvée bubbly, Carneros Cuvée, or Brut Rosé and a<br />
chocolate sampler to share with your Valentine.<br />
And for the ones who dare – ask about the engagement proposal<br />
opportunity if you’re looking to make it an unforgettable night.<br />
Regular admission is $23 per person, $19.55 for Gloria Ferrer<br />
wine club members. VIP admission (limited availability) is $125 per<br />
person, $106.25 for Gloria Ferrer wine club members.<br />
Named to National Geographic Magazine’s Best Trips of 2012 list,<br />
the winery offers sweeping views of acres of vine-covered rolling hills.<br />
Inside the cozy tasting room, which features windows that bring the<br />
outside in and a large stone fireplace, visitors will find the perfect spot<br />
to relax and sip on award-winning sparkling and estate varietal wines<br />
and experience the best of what wine country has to offer.<br />
On a tour of the winery, guests learn how more than 25 years of<br />
making sparkling and estate varietal wines, primarily from grapes<br />
grown sustainably on their estate Carneros vineyards, translates into<br />
highly acclaimed wines that have won more than 400 gold medals<br />
and 30 outstanding 90+ point ratings in the last five years alone.<br />

taste route 116: “sweet 116”<br />
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the collection of wine tasting<br />
rooms that formed “Taste Route 116” will host Sweet 116 from 11<br />
a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 16.<br />
Last year’s event was a complete sell out and guests were thrilled<br />
with the one-of-a-kind souvenir that came with each ticket. Guests<br />
will get to choose their logo’d glasses hand-painted by local artists.<br />
Each one is unique and a very valuable keepsake. Many of the artists<br />
will be at the wineries representing their art.<br />
Guests are invited to enjoy decadent dessert treats and delicious<br />
wines at seven wineries along Highway 116 near Sebastopol.<br />
Tickets are $30 per person, $25 for wine club members, and $10<br />
for designated drivers (glass not included for DDs). Tickets can be<br />
purchased at participating wineries – Balletto Vineyards & <strong>Wine</strong>ry,<br />
Dutton Estate <strong>Wine</strong>ry, Graton Ridge Cellars, Hook & Ladder<br />
(Sebastopol location), Martin Ray <strong>Wine</strong>ry, Russian River Vineyards,<br />
