‣ Water/cement (w/c) ratio 0.40 to 0.50;<br />
Pre-construction testing, specifications (grout QC plan),<br />
construction monitoring<br />
‣ After completion of grouting, no significant loss of grout in<br />
load bearing zone;<br />
Monitor grout take, grout to refusal, pre-grout, re-grout<br />
‣ For Type B micropiles, consider possibility that target<br />
pressure may not be fully obtained during installation<br />
Include verification load test program and proof testing of<br />
suspect piles in specifications
