Some call it a Thermowell. We call the well
for a thermometer a Thermowell.
The Separable Socket is a protective well
designed for the Kimray Thermostat.
It protects the Thermostat probe from corrosion
or physical forces which could bend it. It also
increases the maximum working pressure of
the Thermostat.
