** This figure includes multiple uses of the same room. The maximum number of rooms used on any one night was 3212, showing that each room was utilised on average
by 2 sets of clients.
** This figure include includes multiple uses of the same hotel by different buyer groups. Whilst many of the hotels contracted for BBC COMBO and other broadcasters
were exclusively used for their staff, in most other cases each property was used for 3 or 4 different buyer groups to maximise the usage of the best hotels. In total the
number of different properties used on the project was 63.
*** Rate quoted excludes VAT.
**** This figure only shows the number of rooms that Sportsworld, in its role as a tour operator contracted from itself in its role as the Official Accommodation
Management Company. None of the other UK tour operators used rooms contracted through Sportsworld on their programmes. To our knowledge, apart from Sportsworld,
there were no other international tour operators appointed by CGAs who actually operated any kind of inclusive tour programmes requiring accommodation although
some overseas agencies did purchase event tickets only from M2002, mostly for visitors staying with friends and relatives in the Manchester area.
