Experience Summary<br />
Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> has over 16 years of experience in the real<br />
estate due diligence industry. He has performed <strong>and</strong><br />
managed over 5,000 environmental site assessments for<br />
residential, commercial <strong>and</strong> industrial properties throughout<br />
the continental United States <strong>and</strong> internationally. Mr.<br />
<strong>Romeo</strong>’s international experience includes evaluation of<br />
multi site industrial, commercial <strong>and</strong> hospitality property<br />
portfolios throughout Central America <strong>and</strong> the Caribbean<br />
for a domestic investment bank.<br />
Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> was instrumental in <strong>Partner</strong>s’ acquisition of<br />
L<strong>and</strong>America Assessment Corporation <strong>and</strong> Continental<br />
Surveying. The L<strong>and</strong>America acquisition was instrumental<br />
to <strong>Partner</strong> becoming the industry leader in Environmental<br />
<strong>and</strong> <strong>Engineering</strong> due diligence services. The acquisition of<br />
Continental Surveying enabled <strong>Partner</strong> to offer ALTA<br />
Survey Coordination services nationwide.<br />
Currently Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> serves as the Director of Operations<br />
for <strong>Partner</strong>’s eastern region. Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> was named as one<br />
of Real Estate Forum Magazines Forty under 40 in 2012.<br />
Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> is familiar with the due diligence requirements<br />
of a varied number of reporting st<strong>and</strong>ards, including: the<br />
ASTM E1527-05 st<strong>and</strong>ard, EPA’s All Appropriate Inquiry<br />
(AAI), HUD MAP, HUD LEAN, Fannie Mae DUS,<br />
Freddie Mac, <strong>and</strong> New Jersey’s Property Transfer Law<br />
known as Industrial Site Recovery Act (formerly<br />
Environmental Cleanup Responsibility Act). Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong>s’<br />
due diligence resume includes experience at all levels<br />
including advising lenders, real estate investors, <strong>and</strong> other<br />

organizations. Furthermore, Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> has prepared <strong>and</strong><br />

investigation, <strong>and</strong> remedial action work plans for the<br />
cleanup of facilities including large bulk petroleum <strong>and</strong><br />
industrial facilities, gasoline service stations, dry cleaner<br />

Management responsibilities included consulting clients,<br />
negotiating with regulatory agencies, <strong>and</strong> using innovative<br />
remedial technologies for cost effective mitigation of<br />

Previously, Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> was a Client Manager at a national<br />
due diligence firm, where he managed over $25,000,000<br />
worth of due diligence projects over his five year tenure.<br />

Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> has recently implemented a program for<br />
the evaluation of current <strong>and</strong> potential erosion control<br />

<strong>and</strong> client interaction with Regions Bank’s<br />
Environmental Risk Management group located in<br />
Birmingham, Alabama.<br />
Mr. <strong>Romeo</strong> was key in the development of <strong>Partner</strong>’s<br />
HUD/FHA Practice <strong>and</strong> served as the groups’ director<br />
