Your <strong>University</strong><br />
is Growing!<br />
<strong>Wilmington</strong> <strong>University</strong> has continued to grow in both student population and<br />
academic acclaim since becoming a university on September 10, 2007. There<br />
are now 14,500 students registered for classes at the <strong>University</strong> at 11 locations<br />
in Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. Students can choose from 34 undergraduate<br />
degrees or 27 graduate degrees in a variety of programs. Many students who attend<br />
<strong>Wilmington</strong> <strong>University</strong> are attracted to the flexible schedules, which allow students to<br />
take courses in the evening, during the day, online or on weekends. Students now have<br />
the opportunity to take 14 programs completely online. Ten of the programs are offered at the<br />
undergraduate level and another four are at the graduate level. Graduation classes now average<br />
2,500 per year and the Alumni Association is 30,000 strong.<br />

Collegiate Athletic Association<br />
(NCAA) Division II in the Central<br />
Atlantic Collegiate Conference<br />
(CACC). WU athletes compete in<br />
a conference that is comprised of 14<br />
colleges and universities throughout<br />
Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania,<br />
New York and Connecticut.<br />
<strong>Wilmington</strong> <strong>University</strong> fields<br />
teams in Baseball, Men’s Basketball,<br />
Women’s Basketball, Cheerleading,<br />
Cross Country, Golf, Women’s<br />
Lacrosse, Men’s Soccer, Women’s<br />
Soccer, Softball and Volleyball. The<br />
Wildcats had seven student athletes<br />
named NCAA All-Americans in<br />
2009-2010 and captured last season’s<br />
regular season championships in men’s<br />
soccer and baseball.<br />
39 Wildcat athletes received All-<br />
Conference honors in their respective<br />
sports. The men’s teams were honored<br />
by being named recipients of the Alfred<br />
R. Restaino CACC Commissioner’s<br />
Cup for the highest overall scoring<br />
program in the<br />
