DIAMonD In
ThE RoUGh
Diamond Amplification recently kicked
off its 2010 Support Your Troops benefit.
CEO Jeff Diamant and his business partner,
Terry Martin, put together the program,
which gives 10 percent of all proceeds from
Diamond sales between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31,
2010, to musical equipment that will ship
overseas for military troops.
“We have always offered discounts for
active-duty military personnel, as well as
war veterans,” Diamant said. “Terry and
I both want to do something more for our
troops. We get lots of requests for gear from
military personnel overseas, and we just want
to give them a little taste of home.”
The campaign will provide guitar amps
to troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
