VINTEC WINE CABINET TECHNOLOGY 

Vintec and Transtherm climate controlled wine cabinets recreate 

conditions found in the world’s natural cellars.With controllable 

temperature, adapted hygrometry, natural ventilation and vibration 

control, they bring the ultimate storage solution to your home, 

office or building projects. 

Vintec and Transtherm wine cabinets are manufactured from 

quality materials and thoroughly inspected at all stages of 

production. Our cabinets are designed to protect your wines 

against all external influences, while allowing them to mature 

under optimal conditions. 

While the Vintec range is economical and designed to suit the 

modern lifestyle,Transtherm has been designed to appeal to

More and more people are using our wine cabinets to;

temperatures

The temperature for single-zone wine cabinets should be set 

between 12 – 15°C, safely cellaring both red and white wine 

(which cellar at the same temperature). 

Multi-zone wine cabinets graduate from 6°C at the bottom to 

18°C at the top, ensuring your wines are ready to serve at the 

correct drinking temperature. Multi-zone cabinets are not designed 

for long term storage/cellaring. 

Temperature 

Constant temperature is critical for maturation of both red and 

white wines.The recommended temperature for ageing wines is 

between 12 – 15°C. 

Humidity 

A humidity level of greater than 55% is essential to ensure the 

cork retains its quality. Too little humidity allows the cork to dry 

out, shrink and allows oxidation of the wine to occur.The thermal 

pump system of our wine cabinets ensures adequate humidity 

levels are maintained. In multi-zone wine cabinets the humidity 

reduces greatly, therefore these cabinets are only suitable for 

serving wines rather than long term cellaring and storing of wines. 

Light 

UV and fluorescent light is damaging to wines.The glass doors of 

our wine cabinets are double glazed and UV treated. 

Vibration 

Vibration can affect the flavour and bouquet of your wine. Our 

cabinets feature vibration absorbers and slow cycling balanced 

compressors to eliminate all residual vibrations. 

Air Circulation 

Air circulation prevents mould forming on corks. Our cabinets 

have air vents to ensure slow reticulated air flow.

warranty and are supported by an Australia-wide after-sales and

COLLECTORS ENTRY POINT 

This range includes four sizes of single-temperature wine

with electronic digital temperature setting/display, 4 universal

The Studio fitted cabinet is a small single temperature model, 

especially designed to be placed within a kitchen cabinet, under 

the bench top. Elegant and discreet with its black matt finish, 

the Studio cabinet can also be used as a ‘stand alone”. It can be 

either fully integrated or alternatively, comes with a glass door. 

The Elegance shelf in solid beechwood can be used either as 

a sliding shelf for 13 bottles or as a storage shelf for up to 77 

bottles stored layer upon layer to maximise the bottle capacity

Transtherm Prestige single-zone units are designed to perfectly 

replicate those conditions found in an ideal traditional 

underground wine cellar – a steady temperature of 12-13°C 

with optimum humidity.The temperature can be adjusted 

between 6-18°C and the unit is equipped with a hygrometer 

as standard. 

To keep track of each bottle located within the cabinet the 

solid door models come with a cellar board.
