Brief Review: Carnot Principle and
Kelvin Scale
Carnot Principle: All reversible heat
engines operating between the same two
reservoirs have the same efficiency.
This means:
Ratio heat transfer from hot and to cold
reservoirs is equal to the ratio of the
absolute temperatures of the two
reservoirs.
This also leads to Kelvin scale of absolute
temperature.
