Digital combustion management<br />
means: optimum combustion values,<br />
always repeatable operating<br />
points and easy handling.<br />
<strong>Weishaupt</strong> gas burners of WM-G10<br />
series are equipped with electronic fuel<br />
air ratio controller and digital combustion<br />
manager as standard. Modern<br />
heating applications require precise and<br />
always repeatable correct mixture of<br />
fuel and air. Only this way, optimum<br />
combustion values can be guaranteed<br />
for a long period of time.<br />
Simple operation<br />
The programming of burner function is<br />
performed via the Display and Control<br />
unit. The unit is connected to the combustion<br />
manager via a BUS system.<br />
This way, adjustment of the burner is<br />
user friendly.<br />
Flexible communication possibilities<br />
The integrated interface makes it possible<br />
to receive and send all required information<br />
and control commands from<br />
and to the BMS system. If required, a<br />
modem can be installed so that remote<br />
monitoring and remote diagnostic function<br />
can be activated.<br />
Communication with external systems<br />
The system supports several communication<br />
protocols for connecting to BMS<br />
system if data has to be exchanged<br />
between burners and other heating systems<br />
with PLC devices.<br />
For control and management functions,<br />
<strong>Weishaupt</strong> offers ProGraf NT - a<br />
software product that provides a real<br />
time solution to meet all requirements.<br />
Advantages of new technology<br />
Digital combustion management makes<br />
burner operation user friendly and safe.<br />
The most important benefits are:<br />
• No additional burner controls are required<br />
since this function is already<br />
taken care by the combustion manager.<br />
Fuses and eventually mains disconnect<br />
switch are the only additional<br />
items required.<br />
• Less installation work means less errors:<br />
the burners are tested as a<br />
complete unit at the factory.<br />
• Commissioning and service work take<br />
less time. The initial presetting of the<br />
burner is carried out at the factory. On<br />
site, only the site specific operating<br />
points have to be adjusted.<br />

Compact and quiet<br />
The new <strong>Weishaupt</strong> monarch ®<br />
WM-G10 gas burner is compact,<br />
powerful and quiet. It is the result of<br />
further development of the legendary<br />
monarch ® series.<br />
Advanced fan technology<br />
Right from the earliest developmental<br />
stages of this new burner generation,<br />
particular emphasis was placed on a<br />
compact, aerodynamic construction and<br />
low noise levels.<br />
To realize this goal, completely new air<br />
intake and air damper control were developed.<br />
The special casing design in<br />
conjunction with the new air intake and<br />
air damper technology result in an increased<br />
fan pressure and therefore<br />
more power from a compact design.<br />
The air damper control is responsible for<br />
a linear characteristic even in the low<br />
firing rate. And in conjunction with the<br />
standard air intake sound absorber, this<br />
ensures quieter burner operation.<br />
Quick commissioning, easy maintenance<br />
All WM-G10 burners are shipped out<br />
with an adjustable mixing head. Final<br />
adjustment is to be performed via commissioning<br />
program in the combustion<br />
manager.<br />
All components such as mixing head, air<br />
damper and combustion manager are<br />
easily accessible. Therefore maintenance<br />
and service work can be performed<br />
easily and quickly. The standard<br />
hinged flange allows an ideal service<br />
position for the burner.<br />
Matching to various combustion chamber<br />
geometries can be performed directly<br />
on the burner. The flame and the<br />
ignition process can be observed via<br />
the integrated viewing port.<br />
Flexible control capability<br />
All WM-G10 burners are available as<br />
sliding two stage/ modulating versions.<br />
This allows flexible control possibilities,<br />
which make the burner universally<br />
adaptable to various applications. With<br />
modulating operation, burner output<br />
can be matched automatically to the required<br />
heat demand within its operating<br />
range.<br />
Low NO x operation<br />
NO x emissions are even lower than<br />
those from burners with standard mixing<br />
head. This is achieved by a higher degree<br />
of recirculation of the combustion<br />
gases in combustion chamber.<br />
Essential for low NO x emission is the<br />
combustion chamber dimensions, the<br />
combustion chamber loading and type of<br />
combustion system (3 pass or reverse<br />
flame)<br />

<strong>Weishaupt</strong> gas burner WM-G10 is<br />
compatible for:<br />
• installation on heat exchanger<br />
• hot water boiler<br />
• low and high pressure steam boiler<br />
• intermittent and continuous operation<br />
• installation on hot air generator<br />
The combustion air must be free from<br />
any aggressive chemical substances<br />
(Halogen, Chloride, Fluoride, etc) and<br />
contamination (dust, building materials,<br />
steam, etc). For many cases an external<br />
air ducting to the burner is recommended<br />
as an option.<br />
Permissible environmental conditions:<br />
• Operation temperature<br />
-15 to +40°C (5 to 104F)<br />
•Air humidity: max. 80% relative<br />
humidity, no condensation<br />
•Operation indoor only<br />
•For installation in unheated rooms under<br />
some circumstances special solutions<br />
are required (contact weishaupt)<br />
Any discrepancy from the above described<br />
applications requires written<br />
confirmation from <strong>Weishaupt</strong> Corporation.<br />
The maintenance interval may be<br />
shortened according to conditions<br />
where the burners are installed.<br />

Gas pressure regulator<br />
Compensates for possible gas pressure fluctuations in the<br />
gas supply line. The gas regulator is responsible for a<br />
constant gas pressure and consistent gas throughput. The<br />
required setting pressure/ manifold pressure is to be<br />
