(F-8) Sheriff's Department - County Sheriff's Office Records Retention and
Disposition Schedule - September 28, 2009
The North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources has issued a new
records and retention schedule (September 28, 2009) that must be adopted by
the Board of County Commissioners. This schedule governs the retention and
disposition of public records at the Sheriff's Department, specifically, Item
89, Sexual Offender Records.
UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole
and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the September 28, 2009 Records
Retention and Disposition Schedule for the County Sheriff's Office as issued
by the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources, Di vision of
Historical Archives and Records Section, Government Records Branch, and
authorized the Chairman and Sheriff to execute the schedule on behalf of the
Board.
