WHEREAS, North Carolina<br />

annual Secondary Roads Program,<br />
General Statute 136-44.8 provides that<br />

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the <strong>Cabarrus</strong> <strong>County</strong> Board of<br />
Commissioners that said Board does concur with the 2010-<strong>2011</strong> Secondary Roads<br />
Construction Program as presented by the North Carolina Department of<br />
Transportation and does recommend that the Board of Transportation adopt the<br />
proposed program for <strong>Cabarrus</strong> <strong>County</strong>.<br />

(F-8) Sheriff's Department - <strong>County</strong> Sheriff's Office Records Retention and<br />
Disposition Schedule - September 28, 2009<br />
The North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources has issued a new<br />
records and retention schedule (September 28, 2009) that must be adopted by<br />
the Board of <strong>County</strong> Commissioners. This schedule governs the retention and<br />
disposition of public records at the Sheriff's Department, specifically, Item<br />
89, Sexual Offender Records.<br />
UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole<br />
and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the September 28, 2009 Records<br />
Retention and Disposition Schedule for the <strong>County</strong> Sheriff's Office as issued<br />
by the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources, Di vision of<br />
Historical Archives and Records Section, Government Records Branch, and<br />
authorized the Chairman and Sheriff to execute the schedule on behalf of the<br />
Board.<br />

UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole<br />
and unanimously carried, the Board approved the January <strong>2011</strong> Release-Refund<br />
report as submitted and granted authority to the Tax Collector to process the<br />
refunds and releases.<br />
