On February 8, 1999 my perspective on life and desires for my
future changed drastically as my husband and I welcomed our first
child, Jaxon into the world. Up until this point, I was content
working as a physical therapist, a career I had aspired to since
high school. I loved my career in physical medicine, and I was
resigned to the fact that I would be a working mom. I was sure I
would be able to balance my family and career, and be fulfilled.
Little did I know God had other plans for me.
Along with motherhood came a desperate longing to be home with
my son, Jaxon. Our financial situation would not allow me to quit
my job, yet all I could think of were all the precious moments and
milestone events in Jaxon’s life as he grew up that I would miss while
working full-time. As this desire intensified, I tried to convince myself
that it would pass just so I could continue with my day-to-day
routine. Of course, I was just fooling myself to think that I could
ever be content again if I did not address how I felt about
wanting to be home to raise my son. When I look back, I can
see God’s master plan unfolding as He began preparing me
for a life-changing opportunity.
I started using Arbonne’s phenomenal products shortly after I had
Jaxon, and was impressed with the improvements in my skin. Soon
Deanna Herrin began sharing her plans of building her business
while working full-time. Her ultimate goal was to one day be home
with her children. I began thinking that this might be an option for
