SPRING<br />
Hello<br />
again, everybody! As West <strong>Tennessee</strong> experiences<br />
historic flooding along <strong>the</strong> Mississippi River and its<br />
tributaries, parts <strong>of</strong> East <strong>Tennessee</strong> are still cleaning<br />
up from recent tornadoes. Speaking on behalf <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> TTA board and its<br />
members, our thoughts and prayers go out to all individuals who have<br />
suffered from this spring’s natural disasters across <strong>the</strong> Sou<strong>the</strong>ast. I can only<br />
imagine what <strong>the</strong>y are going through right now.<br />
<strong>The</strong> TTA board met recently in Nashville to prepare for <strong>the</strong> next<br />
Conference and Trade Show in January. With an enormous amount <strong>of</strong> work<br />
from <strong>the</strong> TTA Conference and Trade Show Committee, <strong>the</strong> speaker lineup is<br />
very close to being completed. As always, <strong>the</strong> board looks to find ways to<br />
increase your educational and enjoyment experience at <strong>the</strong> conference.<br />
In this copy <strong>of</strong> <strong>Tennessee</strong> <strong>Turfgrass</strong>, you will find our annual Membership<br />
Directory. This is a great source to network outside <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Conference and to<br />
connect with industry peers that you may be able to help out and/or use <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
expertise to help you accomplish a goal. While reading through <strong>the</strong> member list,<br />
take note if you notice peers who are not listed but who could benefit from being<br />
a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> TTA. Help us spread <strong>the</strong> word about <strong>the</strong> growth <strong>of</strong> our<br />
association and our Conference and Trade Show. With your help, we can<br />
continue to grow and prosper to become <strong>the</strong> premier conference in <strong>the</strong> Sou<strong>the</strong>ast.<br />
