• Criminal History Check & National Sex Offender Registry, which will<br />

include the details of all felony/misdemeanor arrests and charges, along with<br />

disposition of each.<br />

• Motor Vehicle Check of the individual’s driving record.<br />

• Credit History Report of the individual’s credit history in accordance with the<br />

Fair Credit Reporting Act.<br />

1.3 Personnel Files<br />

Personnel Files are the exclusive property of the <strong>College</strong> and will not be released in<br />

part or in total to any persons or agencies unless properly subpoenaed.<br />

An active employee may review information in his or her file maintained by the<br />

Office of Human Resources, but the employee may not remove information from<br />

the file.<br />

Personnel files will not be removed from the Human Resources office area without<br />

authorization from the Director of Human Resources.<br />

1.5 Personal Information Changes<br />

It is important that the personal information in your file is accurate at all times.<br />

You are responsible for notifying Human Resources in writing of any changes<br />

of address, telephone number, name, marital status, or person to be notified in an<br />

emergency.<br />

Changes in name and the number of dependents claimed for health insurance or<br />

state and federal income tax purposes require completion of forms, which are available<br />

in the Human Resources Office or on the HR website. http://www.bridgewater.<br />

1.6 Time and Attendance<br />

To insure that you will be properly paid for hours worked, all hourly and non-exempt<br />

employees must complete either a manual or electronic timecard. All timecards<br />

must be completed and approved by 12:00 noon on the Monday following the<br />

end of a pay period.<br />
