Useful facts
The following are some useful facts about CLIC Sargent, to help
you explain what we do while you’re fundraising for us.
What is our vision
Our vision is a world where all children and
young people with cancer live life to the full.
What do we do
CLIC Sargent supports children and young
people with cancer, and their families,
from diagnosis onwards. We aim to help
the whole family deal with the impact of
cancer and its treatment, life after treatment
and, in some cases, bereavement.
Why we need your support
Every day, around 10 children and young
people in the UK hear the shocking news they
have cancer. At the moment, CLIC Sargent
can only help two out of three of them. With
your support we can reach even more.
cancer and get the
most out of life.
help everyday
CLIC Sargent Social Workers meet families
after diagnosis and provide ongoing
helping them cope during their time in
Homes from Home
Children are treated in specialist cancer
to these hospitals, so that they can be
close to their children during treatment.
