Crossings near parallel to the drainage cause a<br />

large disturbed area in the channel, streambank,<br />

and approach cuts.<br />

<strong>Drainage</strong> crossings perpendicular to the creek<br />

minimize the area <strong>of</strong> disturbance. Armor the<br />

stream crossing and roadway surface.<br />
