The magnificent 1860s Victorian build<strong>in</strong>g is<br />

home to <strong>the</strong> Showboat Festival Theatre. The<br />

<strong>in</strong> timate 220-seat <strong>the</strong>atre with ‘<strong>in</strong>-<strong>the</strong>-round’<br />

seat<strong>in</strong>g presents a truly unique <strong>the</strong>atrical<br />

experience. Celebrat<strong>in</strong>g its 25th summer<br />

season, <strong>the</strong>re are four fabu lous productions<br />

runn<strong>in</strong>g from June to September. As well as<br />

be<strong>in</strong>g home to <strong>the</strong> Show boat Festival Theatre,<br />

Roselawn is a community centre which is host<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong>ternationally acclaimed musicians, <strong>the</strong><br />

Food and W<strong>in</strong>e Series, and <strong>the</strong> Canadian Author<br />

Series. The Roselawn Centre caters for groups<br />

<strong>of</strong> 30-80 for wedd<strong>in</strong>gs, special occasions, family<br />

events and bus<strong>in</strong>ess sem<strong>in</strong>ars. Roselawn is<br />

easily accessed from any po<strong>in</strong>t <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Niagara<br />

pa<strong>in</strong>t <strong>the</strong> coal hatches <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> downtown area.<br />

Coal hatch art helps beautify <strong>the</strong> downtown for<br />

both local resident pedestrians and out-<strong>of</strong>-town<br />

shop pers. It demonstrates pride <strong>in</strong> our heritage<br />

and our community. The coal hatch pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g<br />

project embodies <strong>the</strong> true spirit <strong>of</strong> public art<br />

s<strong>in</strong>ce <strong>the</strong> colourfully pa<strong>in</strong>ted coal hatches can<br />
